The Summer Biomedical Engineering Experience (SBEE 2017)
The Summer Biomedical Engineering Experience is an engaging, college-level program designed to provide high school students with the knowledge and skills needed to make an informed decision about a career in bioengineering. Students can expect full immersion in an academic biomedical engineering environment surrounded by peers, instructors, and researchers. Hands-on activities and guided instruction will give a clear understanding of the fundamentals of this exciting field.
Throughout the course of this two-week program, students will interact directly with concepts, tools, and technologies such as:
- Bio-electrical signals (EKG, EMG and EEG)
- Mechanical CAD and 3D Printing
- Analytical Biochemistry
- Microcontroller Programming
The Summer Biomedical Engineering Experience is a two-week curriculum held weekdays at The University of Texas at Dallas Campus from 9am – 4pm.
Class Dates Available for Registration
Session A: July 17th – July 28th, 2017 – CLASS IS FULL (as of 4/27)
Session B: July 31st – August 11th, 2017 – 2 Seats Left (as of 7/10)
